First Senate Meeting held at The Shaikh Ayaz University Shikarpur

The First Meeting of the Senate of the Shaikh Ayaz University Shikarpur was held on 19th November, 2022 in Bhagat Kanwar Auditorium. The meeting was chaired by Honorable Vice Chancellor Dr. G. Raza Bhatti. The Chair welcomed and addressed all the respected members of the Senate. The agenda items approved by Finance
& Planning Committee and Syndicate in their meetings were put before the Senate for approval and resolution. Honorable Chair Dr. G. Raza Bhatti presented Business Plan of the University emphasizing on four key Road Maps i.e. Academic Road Map, Digital Transformation Road Map, Infrastructure Development and E-Governance. Other Agenda items including Annual Report 2019-20 & 2020-21, University Budget and Creation of Academic & Teaching Positions were presented by Dr. Saqib Wahab Mahar, Registrar and Mr. Nisar Ahmed Noonari, Director Finance. The Members of the Senate approved all the agenda items and appreciated efforts of the Vice Chancellor for the Academic Progress, IT Infrastructure Development, Master
Planning of the University & Development Projects and for Governance.
The Senate Meeting was attended by Dr. Manzoor Hussain Soomro, Mr. Nazeer Hussain (HEC Nominee),Teachers (Senate Members) of the University, Syndicate Members Molvi Abdullah Mahar, Mr. Aslam Naveed Soomro, Mr. Bakhtiar Ahmed and Mr. Mir Muhammad Mahar. The Secretary Universities & Board Mr.Muhammad Mureed Rahimoon, Ms. Ayesha Issani Majeed, Mr. Rahim Bux Channa and Dr.Masroor AhmedShaikh attended the Meeting Online through Zoom.
