Data science is a multi-disciplinary field that involves scientific methods, processes, algorithms, and systems to extract knowledge from structured and unstructured data. By keeping the view of its significant importance in emerging topics of science and technology the department of computer science has established the “Data Science and Computing Society”.

To organize co-curricular activities in the fields of information and communication sciences.
Mission
Provision of facilities to both faculty staff and the students regarding scientific methods, processes, algorithms, and systems to extract knowledge from structured and unstructured data.
